Industrial Electrician

THE POSITION:

The Electrician performs routine installations, repairs, and maintenance of all electrical systems throughout the production facility to ensure compliance with local and federal codes

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma
Minimum of 3 years of full-time electrical experience

Strong electrical field knowledge, including:

Conduit bending and wire installation
Troubleshooting machine controls
Frequency drives
Motor starters
Relay logic and PLCs
Electrical repairs and upgrades as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skilled in the use of tools associated with the electrician’s trade
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) systems
PLC troubleshooting experience helpful
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and schematics
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Self-directed team player with effective communication skills
Willing and able to assist with non-electrical projects as needed
Strong safety awareness
Basic PC knowledge
