Procedure Scheduler, Operation Scheduler, and Radiology Scheduler

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Schedule specialized procedures for an assigned department.
• Coordinate services with physicians’ offices and related departments, verifying room and equipment availability.
• Gain cooperation from patients, their families, and healthcare providers through effective communication.
• Maintain privacy and safety according to local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring optimal patient care.
• Perform clerical tasks such as answering phones, greeting customers, and managing patient service schedules.
• Keep the work environment clean and organized.
• Ensure compliance with department standards, policies, and procedures, maintaining patient confidentiality.

 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• 1 year of recent relevant experience.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic tests, surgeries, and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-developed time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and handle interruptions.

 
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
